You may already have seen this announcement on coral-list, but just in
case.....

On 4 July, the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority released the
latest State of the Great Barrier Reef Report.  This Report is a
synthesis of the best available scientific information on the condition
of the Great Barrier Reef, the pressures acting on it and the management

strategies employed to reduce these pressures.

The new State of the Great Barrier Reef report has not been designed as
a hard copy document but instead, comprises of a series of inter  linked

"Updates" chapters published on-line. As such, the new report is a
living document that will continuously be reviewed and updated  to
ensure that the most current information is always available. Six
updated chapters are currently on-line with more to be posted in the
coming weeks.
