PECHEUX M 1995 Ecomorphology of a recent 
 large foraminifer, Operculina ammonoide

Hundred specimens studied from Aqaba stu 
died by X-ray and computerized biometry, 
 with >100000 data 
Growth rate, fecundity, shape controlled 
 by light while size by competition. 
Calcification equals to photosynthesis. 
Irregularities at mid-depth, very slight 
 compared toabnormalities during bleachi 
ng
