I am an active coral reef biologist, among other special interests, and I 
am also currently involved in the monitoring studies at the Flower Garden 
Banks National Marine Sanctuary.  I have been a Biological Oceanographer 
for the past 21 years. 

Other credentials: 

Diving Safety Officer for College of Geoscience and Department of Oceanography 
Work at the Flower Garden coral reefs since 1975. 
Active in coral spawning research since its discovery in the Gulf of Mexico
