Bolinao cement plant - Thanks!

Thank you very much to all who supported us against the plan to put  
up a cement factory near the coral reefs of Bolinao and Anda!  The  
Department of Environment and Natural Resources of the Philippines  
has decided not to issue an Environmental Compliance Certificate to  
the Pangasinan Cement Corporation for: (a) unacceptable environmental  
risks, (b) serious land and resource use conflict, and (c) problems  
of social acceptability.
