Dear Colleagues:

The following information might be useful to those researchers 
working on coral bleaching:


Both present conditions and modeled forecasts indicate a rapid 
intensification of a warm episode in the eastern Pacific.  Temperatures 
along the equator in the eastern Pacific are already 4degC above normal.
