octocoral sclerites (fwd)

Subject: octocoral sclerites

Hi All,

I am hoping that someone can help me track something down.  I was told (or
read somewhere) that in some areas, about 70% of the sediment is made up
of octocoral sclerites.  Does anyone know where this may have come from?
