Paper of interest to coral-listers

Our paper published in the recent issue of  Paleoceanography (vol 16 #1
pp 20-26) is a study of the effects of coral-algae symbiosis on the
skeletal chemistry and ultrastructure of Porites.  Although we focus on
the implications for the interpretation of coral-based climate data, our
discussion of daily growth banding and day-night cycles in skeletal
accretion and crystal morphology may be of interest to some of you who
don't normally  read this journal.
