10ICRS Okinawa, 2004

Dear Coral-List,

The 10th International Coral Reef Symposium will be held in Okinawa from
28 June to 2 July, 2004 being coordinated by International/Local
Organizing
committees and the Japanese Coral Reef Society.

The first circular has just been issued, which announces the general
information of the symposium with a pre registration card and call for
proposals of mini-symposium responding to four sub-themes under the main
theme "Stability and Degradation of Coral Reef Ecosystems" selected by
the Organizing Committee.

The first circular is enclosed with the next issue of "Coral Reefs", and
you can find the same contents  at http://www.plando.co.jp/icrs2004.
Those who wish to convene a mini-symposium should submit the theme
through
this web site by 30 January 2003.

Call for individual papers will be announced in the second circular
(around July 2003) after the content of mini-symposiums fixes.
