<DIV><FONT face="Century Gothic" size=2>I have been trying unsuccessfully to
obtain non-degraded DNA from corals (both live and frozen samples). Although the
different techniques I have tried work wonders for the extraction
of <EM>Symbiodinium</EM> DNA, I have had no luck with the host.

<DIV><FONT face="Century Gothic" size=2>Can anyone suggest a good technique to
extract coral DNA from the colony that will not degrade it?</FONT></DIV>
