[Coral-List] Status of Coral Reefs of the World: 2004

To the Coral Listers:

The latest report does exist and has been printed. I saw copies this morning; the other copies are begin printed now along with a CD version.

I wish to thank all those people who contributed to this Status 2004 report that is now in two volumes of 580 pages with 240 author names on the chapters. I also wish to apologise to anybody who sent me material that did not make it into the final copy. In the end there was a massive amount of material coming in and it was difficult to keep track of it all. If I lost your piece, please accept my apologies.

The first launch will be at WWF in Washington DC on Monday 06 December followed by Paris, 9th, Stockholm, 13th and then London on the 16th.

The full report will go up on the www.aims.gov.au website on 07-DEC and then be available on other websites including reefbase.org and gcrmn.org and maybe wwf website
