    Project Manager - Research & Monitoring

Remuneration Package up to $71,765

including a salary range of $54,989 - $61,417

*_GREAT BARRIER REEF_** **MARINE PARK AUTHORITY***

Manage a program which facilitates the determination of natural science 
information needs for Park planning and management, ensuring that 
results are interpreted and disseminated in a format useful for the 
formulation of policy, planning and management advice. Contribute to the 
strategic planning and coordination of overall research and monitoring 
investment, and responsibility for specific issues and aspects of human 
impacts on the Great Barrier Reef. 

The person the Authority is seeking will have:

 

·         Demonstrated competence in complex project management 
including development of project plans, management of resources and 
evaluation of outcomes;

·         Demonstrated competence in the application of natural science 
information to natural resource management, preferably in the tropical 
marine environment;

·         Scuba diving qualifications and Queensland boat licence, or 
the ability to acquire these;

·         Tertiary qualifications in Marine Science or a related 
discipline.
