[Coral-List] Faculty positions at University of Guam

Dear Listers,

The University of Guam Marine Lab has two 12-month, tenure-track 
positions available at the Assistant to Associate Professor level.  The 
Marine Laboratory is looking for 2 faculty members to carry out an 
active research and teaching program in the areas of (1)tropical marine 
invertebrate zoology and (2) corals/coral reef biology.
  	
The successful candidate would be expected to:  1) teach and advise 
graduate (M.S. degree) students; 2) obtain extramural grants and 
maintain a continuous record of scholarly activity; and 3) perform 
university and community service.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in a relevant field from a U.S. accredited 
institution or foreign equivalent, a strong record of research as 
evidenced by recent grants and refereed publications in scientific 
journals, and the ability to teach graduate level courses.  Preference 
will be given to investigators with established research records in 
tropical invertebrate zoology or corals/coral reef biology.
