[Coral-List] Pioneer Species

Hi everybody!

I remember having read that Favia fragum is something like a pioneer species
in the Caribbean but apparently lost the reference of the article. I tried
to find it again for days on the web but was unlucky. Since I need it quite
urgently I´m pretty desperate...
Has anybody an idea of a reference talking about that topoic? 
References about other pioneer or early settler species of the Caribbean are
welcome,too!
