[Coral-List] Okinawa Accomodation Opportunity

Dear Listers,
Due to funding problems, i'm sure like some others, I will be unable to attend this years meeting.
However, I previously booked accomodation at the Pacific Hotel Okinawa. If there is anyone out
there
or you know of anyone needing accomodation for the duration of the conference (actually the room
is
booked from 26th June-3rd July). Please mail me at the address below. It is the second cheapest
hotel on the suggested list and is on the shuttle bus route. The cost is 5 775 yen per night. It
is
a double room sharing with a presenting colleague. Female is preferred!

Cheers,
Leanne

Just a quick note of thanks for the large response to my earlier request for
advice on marine epoxy for transplant experiments. There were too many replies
for me to address each one personally - but I do appreciate all the advice I
received. FYI, a summary of the prevalent advice: Z-spar was a popular basic
epoxy, but I was warned it is toxic until it cures. Cyanoacrylic super glue
gel was also popular, particularly due to its lack of toxicity, but it can
result in nubbin loss under high wave exposure. Aquastick, by Two Little
Fishes, appears to be the least toxic epoxy that seems to suite field
experiments where wave action is an issue.

Thanks again!

Dear all,

I did receive the Bali proceedings, some time back, but unfortunately
received two copies of Volume 1. If anyone has two copies of Vol. 2 and
wants to swap I¹d be happy to do it in Okinawa, or by mail ...
