PICRC WELCOMES NEW CEO
The Palau International Coral Reef Center's (PICRC) Board of Directors on August 17, 2004, officially announced the appointment of the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for PICRC to a gathering of representatives from various environemental agencies throughout Palau.

Mr. Iyar is a Palau Community College alumnus.  He holds BBA and MBA degrees from the University of Guam.  Prior to joining PICRC, Mr. Iyar was formally a Chief of Finance and Accounting Division for the Ministry of Finance, Republic of Palau.  Mr. Iyar's experience leading to his employment in Palau was with the Guam Visitors Bureau, as the Marketing and Promotions Officer.
