Dear friends and colleagues
Maybe some of you would be interested in Spalding´s book "A guide to the coral reefs of the Caribbean", which is already available. It is very interesting, nicely illustrated (inlcuding country level maps showing reef areas) and provides synthetic but substancious descriptions about reefs accross Caribbean countries and useful tips for protecting and managing coral reefs. It can be useful good tool for protected area and coastal ecosystem managers, as well as for the general public and teachers interested in coral reefs. It nicely complements the nice recently published book "Reef at Risk in the Caribbean"
It was published by Univ. of California Press.
