Biological Laboratory Technician**
Immediate Opening*

A contract technician position is available to assist in conducting 
laboratory analyses directed at understanding fundamental biological 
processes in corals at the biochemical, cellular and molecular levels. 
The work involves analytical techniques and procedures such as DNA 
purification, cloning and sequencing, and extraction, identification and 
characterization of proteins using one- and two-dimensional 
electrophoresis methods. The work location is at the NOAA, National 
Ocean Service, Center for Coastal Environmental Health and Biomolecular 
Research (CCEHBR), Charleston, South Carolina. *Minimum Qualifications*: 
Bachelor’s degree with two years of laboratory experience in the use of 
analytical methods related to biochemistry, cellular, or molecular 
biology. *Salary*: $27,569 p.a. and includes health benefits. Submit
