The Scottish Association for Marine Science (SAMS) is seeking to appoint a Research Assistant to a new project 'Deep-Sea Conservation for the UK'.

Candidates will have experience with marine conservation biology, GIS and interest in predictive habitat modelling. 

The post is on the Research scale, is for a period of 12 months in the first instance and based at the Dunstaffnage Marine Laboratory near Oban on the west coast of Scotland. Salary will be £19,460 - £21,640 depending on qualifications and experience.
