You can take a look at this article :
"The PAR (Photosynthetic Available Radiation, unit
µE/m2/s) measures the number of photons reaching a
surface, all this in the wavelengths of the visible
light (between 400 and 700nm)" And the "orginal"

Please can someone explain what P.A.R. is. I gather it
is a percentage of lux which is photosynthetically
active. For two bulbs with the same lumen output, can
P.A.R. differ.
