[Coral-List] Great Barrier Reef Study Program

Applications for the 2006 Great Barrier Reef Study Program (GBRSP) are now
open.  The GBRSP program runs a series of university level courses at two
research stations on the southern Great Barrier Reef.  If you are interested
– go to http://www.cms.uq.edu.au/GBRSP and read about these courses.  
 
Courses that will be held in 2006 include: 
 
*     Coral Reef Ecosystems (Heron Is)
*     Physical-Biological Oceanography (Heron Is)
*     Marine Microscopy Microanalysis (Stradbroke Is)
*     Marine Neurobiology (Heron Is)
*     Coastal Resource Management (Stradbroke Is)
*     Tropical Marine Invertebrates (Heron Is)
 
I would also welcome hearing from institutional staff in international
offices or schools/departments, faculty or researchers interested in the
program and able to assist with circulating information to prospective
