The Gulf Ecology Division of the National Health and Environmental
Research Laboratory, Office of Research and Development at the U.S.
Environmental Protection Agency is seeking recent graduates with a B.S.
degree in biology, phycology, chemistry, ecology, environmental science,
marine biology, computer science/modeling, mathematics, statistics,
morphometrics, or related fields to provide contractual services to
examine the effects of climate change and other stressors on cultures of
coral symbionts (Symbiodinium spp.), to establish computer based,
3-dimensional models of various corals, and to evaluate previous and
current coral reef monitoring programs.
