Aloha, I have heard from many scientists in the field of coral biology that members of the genus Porites may tend to be more difficult to successfully PCR, due to a variety of factors that possibly inhibit the PCR reaction. Does anyone know of a journal article that would make a good reference to this? Thanks, Jennifer Hester
