[Coral-List] question on bleaching events

   hi listers.

   i  am  now working  on  the  effects  of  bleaching events on manicina
   areolata. i have a question

   based  on  the  fact  that  there  is a symbiosis between algae an the
   coral,  and  that  the coral gives nitrogen, phosphorus and co2 to the
   zooxanthellae, could    the   increase   in temperature   affect   the
   concentrations  (or  chemical  properties)  of  these compounds in the
   water  column,  having  a  negative  effect on the rate of exchange of
   these ones?. besides the known effect of the increasing temperature on
   the photosystem II of algae.
