[Coral-List] Call for scientists/dive professionals to attend Reef Check training workshop

Reef Check is announcing a call for participants to attend our 
EcoAction  training workshop in the Dominican Republic May 21-23.
Partial funding for airfare and lodging expenses may be available to
qualified applicants by Reef Check and UNEP.  Workshop includes all
instruction and materials required to implement Reef Check monitoring and
training courses in your area and will  involve a combination of classroom
and field activities.
 
The training workshop is open to marine scientists and diving operators.  To
qualify for funding applicants must reside in one of the designated SPAW
countries: Colombia, Cuba, Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao, St Vincent and the  
Grenadines, Panama, Venezuela, Trinidad and Tobago or St. Lucia.
 
Upon successful completion of training by SPAW country residents, further
funding opportunities will be available for the conduction of Reef Check
surveys.

Only 10 funded spaces are available for this training. Please send
