Ransom Myers published groundbreaking studies of the overfishing of cod, large predatory fish, and sharks, among other things. He published over 100 papers in peer-reviewed journals, including regularly publishing in Science. Another of his articles on sharks just appeared in the current issue of Science, with some of his many co-authors: "Cascading effects of the loss of apex predatory sharks from a coastal ocean."
