SALARY RANGE: 25,623.00 - 41,262.00 USD per year

MAJOR DUTIES:
The incumbent in this position will work for Division of Resource
Management, performs complex biological science technical support tasks
common to natural resource management. Organizes, schedules, executes
natural resource management projects including but not limited to, coral
reef and fisheries assessment, sea turtle research and monitoring, exotic
pest control, bird population studies, vegetation management and water
resources. Incumbent collects data using standardized protocols, organizes
and ensures quality control of field data, makes field observations of
natural resource conditions. Performs computerized data entry and utilizes
computer programs to compile, store, and analyze data involving resource
management information.  Incumbent assists in the preparation of project
reports including literature research, description of methods, preparation
of graphics and charts and summary findings. Provides logistical support
and area orientation for scientists. Installs, operates and maintains
resource management equipment. Assists with the park volunteer program and
provides information to others concerning the natural resource management
program.
