Dear Colleagues,

The David and Lucile Packard Foundation's Science Program seeks to make a small group of grants in 2008 that are focused on using software tools to help support marine and coastal ecosystem-based management in developing countries. This will be a multi-step process starting with a "Request for Statements of Need".

The "Request for Statements of Need" is available at the following address (note case sensitivity in the filename) -

http://www.environmentservices.com/ebmtools/EBMToolsRFP.pdf

Please forward this information to any parties that may be interested.

Please note that Statements of Need, in the format described in the PDF announcement, can be emailed to EBMTools08 at environmentservices.com by close of business, Eastern US time on May 5th, 2008 to be considered.

If you have questions, please direct them to the email address above.

Thanks very much,

Kristin Sherwood
