[Coral-List] 2008 ISRS/OC Fellowship Recipient Announcement @ 11th ICRS 7/10/08

Announcement: The six recipients of the 2008 International Society for
Reef Studies/Ocean Conservancy Coral Reef Research Fellowships will be
announced at the 11th International Coral Reef Society in Ft.
Lauderdale, between 2:00 and 3:00pm on Thursday, July 10, 2008 in
Ballroom A (at the ISRS General meeting).  We request that all
applicants, current, and former fellows present at the ICRS attend the
ISRS General Meeting. Please let me know if you will be there via email.


Informal Meeting:  We would also like to convene a small informal
meeting of former, current, and future fellows and others interested in
the fellowship program on Thursday after the Scientific Program ends
around 6:00PM to discuss experiences, future networking of fellows, and
other suggestions. Please email me and let me know if you are available
and interested in participating and I will provide details, if there is
a critical mass.

Current Contact Information:  Finally, if you are a former fellow,
whether or not you are attending the ICRS, please email me with your
current contact information, so that we can update records and establish
