Hello to all,
I know that I am a little slower than most of you, which is why I am
confused. The question that I am asking is: What exactly did you
expect AMERICAN divers to do differently if they are told that this is
the IYOR? Did anyone out there really expect that knowledge alone to
make any difference in the behavior of the average diver? I don't.
The biggest impact that divers have on coral reefs has almost nothing to
do with diving. It has to do with driving a 12 mpg SUV, flying to coral
reef destinations, setting their home air conditioning system to 72,
etc, etc.
