Study Tropical Marine Environments at the University of the South Pacific, Suva, FIJI
 
Are you keen on exploring  pristine tropical marine environments?
Are you looking for an elective course to complete your study program abroad?
Or would you just want to learn more about tropical marine ecosystems?
 
If so, then the Institute of Marine Resources of the University of the South Pacific in Suva, Fiji would be the right place to broaden your knowledge. The Institute of Marine Resources (IMR) offers a three-weeks intensive course on Tropical Marine Environments. This course consists of 30 classroom lectures and 10 field trips, one of which is an overnight stay at a coastal Fijian village.
 
The course is geared for second year marine science students and is offered every year for Australian students through Macquarie University. A new offering this year from 30th June – 18th July 08 is geared for US Study Abroad students through the University of Wisconsin, USA. Other US students who may want to take this course can apply through University of Wisconsin and have it cross-credited to their universities. This can also be taken as a non-credited course to broaden your knowledge on tropical marine environments.
