We are seeking an enthusiastic postdoctoral researcher with a strong
background in analytical and numerical ecology, to work as a part of an
interdisciplinary team on the design and application of novel
quantitative and/or qualitative approaches to systematic marine
conservation planning. The successful applicant will be involved in
basic and applied research supporting the conservation management of
northern Australia marine ecosystems including spatial analyses for
biodiversity representation, as well as consideration with overlapping
human uses.  The research will directly address the theoretical
underpinning and analytical practices for spatial design of marine
reserves and off-reserve spatial management.
