[Coral-List] Information on Red Sea sponges

Hi Nikki!

We just had a german master student working with us on sponge and coral interactions here in Dahab, Sinai. She showed me a link that is probably very helpful for you...

The site was put up by Dr. Dafni, marine biologist in Eilat. It will also help you with the identification of other invertebrates. 

During our surveys we discovered a number of species that we couldn't identify yet. She took samples and will discuss them with a german sponge specialist. 

You see... there is still a lot of things to discover here in the Gulf of Aqaba... hope you will enjoy the summer and it will a successful project!
