[Coral-List] Expanding population and coral reefs

More information for the population/dying reefs discussion. The
Japanese have done a really good job of reducing fecundity. Median
age is around 70 and they allow no immigration. At this rate it is a
dying society. I just read another article that says they do not have
enough crematoria to take care of the situation today and it will
become a larger issue in the next 10 years. They are considering
crematoria on ships to keep the odor away from land but the problem
may be disposal (pollution?) at sea!
I also read recently that 30 percent of US births are to unwed
teenagers! We are such an enlightened society are we not. Gene
