I just belatedly came across a website http://www.350.org/ about "grassroots global action will be useful to put pressure on the huge UN Climate meeting in Copenhagen. Together we can remind our leaders that they need to take physical reality—and not political expediency—into account when they're making decisions about our collective future.
This is not meant to be a political email post to the Coral List. At worst, there is a slideshow of interesting photos on this website. Thanks to Roz Savage, a woman who has rowed a small boat across the Atlantic Ocean, and is 2/3 the way across the Pacific Ocean, alone in a rowboat. Granted, a high tec rowboat. I heard about the 350 from her website.
Melissa in St Croix agreeing we don't have much of a chance, but we must try to keep our thumbs in the dyke.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
