[Coral-List] Seeking Volunteer Field Assistant - Florida Keys Grouper Research

Seeking a qualified Volunteer Field Assistant for a Florida State 
University Coastal and Marine Laboratory research project being 
conducted this summer in the Florida Keys to investigate the ecology of 
juvenile red grouper in Florida Bay.  We will be working at three sites 
off Marathon Key to describe and quantify the faunal communities 
associated with juvenile red grouper excavations.  Field work will 
consist primarily of fish counts, sediment core collection, and setting 
up/ retrieving equipment.  One day a week will be spent processing 
samples in a laboratory.  Most work will be done on SCUBA (~20 ft. deep) 
and some by snorkel, so applicant must have current AAUS Scientific 
Diving certification, be familiar with boats, and be willing to work and 
dive long days in beautiful Florida Bay.  Must be available from May 24 
until July 7 (end date weather dependent).  Housing will be provided, as 
well as transportation from Tallahassee to Marathon and back.  If
