the Climate Adaptation Knowledge Exchange - your online adaptation
destination!

CAKE will provide you with the necessary resources to engage in
adaptation and bypass the step where many people stop, convinced there
is not enough information. There is and CAKE can help you find it.
CAKE is here to provide you with the resources, tools and contacts
that will allow you to begin your climate savvy work and
simultaneously grow the field of adaptation.

CAKE was developed by EcoAdapt and Island Press to create an
innovative community of practice and a comprehensive online resource
of all things adaptation.

EcoAdapt has over 60 years of combined adaptation experience. During
our time working in the field, we have seen a need for creating a
comprehensive online adaptation resource that would link examples of
successful adaptation efforts, to the data used to plan them, to the
people who implemented them. We created CAKE to fulfill this need.
