The Marine Resources Research Group (GIRM) of the Polytechnic
Institute of Leiria (IPL), School of Tourism and Maritime Technology
(ESTM) will host the INTERNATIONAL MEETING ON MARINE RESOURCES 2010
(IMMR 2010) - http://www.immr.ipleiria.pt/, from 16th to 17nd November
2010 (Peniche, Portugal).

The purpose of this meeting is to promote the new scientific knowledge
on marine resources for the understanding and sustainability of our
planet. The main conference themes are:
•         Biodiversity and Conservation
•         Blue Biotech
•         Fisheries and Management
•         Aquaculture
•         Sea Food Technology
•         New Resources Areas

The regular programme will be sustained by several international
experts that kindly share scientific knowledge through
state-of-the-art lectures as well as by young researchers with the
latest scientific innovations, discoveries and practices on important
subjects in the multidisciplinary field of marine resources.
Altogether, we believe that the IMMR 2010 will be a prominent
scientific meeting as well as a rewarding and effective event for all
the participants.

Participants are encouraged to submit one contributed paper on the
main conference themes using the online abstract submission system
(http://www.immr.ipleiria.pt/). Abstract submission deadline: June 30,
2010
