Papahanaumokuakea Marine National Monument offices in Honolulu, HI:

Job Title: PMNM Research Support Technician
Job ID: 10087
Description:  Supports the staff of the Monument on field operations and 
research. Performs logistical preparation for research cruises, 
including drafting and revising cruise instructions and cruise reports, 
equipment inventory and record-keeping, SCUBA gear maintenance, 
purchasing expedition supplies, loading and unloading of NOAA research 
ships, small boat maintenance, and service and maintenance of underwater 
photo gear.    Coordinates research and monitoring activities with 
Monument co-trustee agencies and other institutions.  Participates in 
joint outreach projects with Monument staff and co-trustee agencies.

Job Title:  PMNM Research Coordinator
Job ID: 10086
Description:  Develop, coordinate, manage, and evaluate and leads 
implementation of characterization, monitoring, and research projects 
and activities designed to meet the management needs of the Monument and 
co-trustee agencies.  Serves as Monument liaison to other scientific 
agencies, offices, and research institutions.  Provides technical advice 
in support of resource management, policy, and scientific issues. 
Reports on the Monument's progress toward meeting system-wide 
performance measures and Monument Management Plan goals and objectives.  
Represents the Monument at senior-level scientific, policy, and 
management meetings.  Provides technical advice on climate change 
related issues, policies, and research.
