Florida’s revised State Wildlife Action Plan (also known as Comprehensive
Wildlife Conservation Strategy, CWCS, and SWAP) is now available *for
comment through August 31, 2011*.  The Action Plan is part of a nation-wide
effort by all states and U.S. territories to conserve wildlife and vital
natural areas for future generations. Significant revision topics include:**

**·        ***The Species of Greatest Conservation Need (SGCN) list*

**·        ***Prioritizing Freshwater implementation in the Action Plan*

**·        ***Climate Change adaptation*
