Emerging Wildlife Leaders in the Caribbean: call for conservationists

Caribbean Emerging Wildlife Leaders (C-EWCL ) is looking for
exceptional conservationists with over 3 years previous commitment to
the environment, and at least 15 more years ahead of them in the field,
and is currently accepting applications for the 2012/2013 Class.

All costs are covered for selected English-Speaking, Caribbean-based
participants, who will be invited to attend a four-day training course
in Antigua in May 2012, and again in spring of 2014, with an interim web
training in Spring of 2012.

C-EWCL brings together approximately 12 wildlife conservationists
flagged by current leaders in the field for their enthusiasm, skills,
and vision. The course focuses on three benefits to participants: (1)
Providing networking and career mentoring opportunities, (2) Training in
leadership and wildlife conservation campaign skills, and (3) Offering
participants the opportunity to plan, implement and evaluate a real
wildlife conservation campaign benefiting a Caribbean species.

C-EWCL is a collaborative effort sponsored by U.S. Fish & Wildlife
Service, International Division and the International Fund for Animal
Welfare.

If you can think of someone who would be a good match for this
opportunity, please encourage them to visit the C-EWCL website and
apply. The application deadline is January 6, 2012.
