[Coral-List] Bleaching Management

Suwan asked for comments so here goes. If bleaching is caused by high 
water temperature I question what removing swimmers will accomplish? 
Will body temperature further increase water temp?  If they are not 
standing on or touching corals  (and not urinating excessively) what 
is accomplished by excluding swimmers? Allowing swimmers may in fact 
be good education because it would allow more people to see bleaching 
for themselves even though at present there is nothing beneficial 
they can do other than give more money to the park. I know the heart 
is in the right place but I suspect this is simply a public relations 
action aimed at giving the appearance of doing something beneficial. 
It makes us all feel better. Gene
