> Dear all,

> some scientists have sighted an unusual seagrass in several islands especially in the Lesser Antilles. The species, identified as Halophila stipulacea, seems to be spreading quickly in some areas. In order to better understand its dynamics and to compile information on its current range, Dr Demian Willette (CT-PIRE Project, Old Dominion University), Dr. Fred Short (Univ of New Hampshire) and Dr. Sascha Steiner (ITME Dominica) have joined their efforts to create the two attached posters (one in spanish, one in english). The posters have two objectives : raise awareness, and ask for assistance to compile information by reporting sightings. These posters also request sighting information on the recently described citing of Halophila ovalis in the Caribbean
>
> Please contact me if you have any questions or comments, or sightings to report, and I'll report to Dr Willette.
