Permanent Full Time Research Scientist Position with the Marine Science Program of the Department of Environment and Conservation, Western Australia.
The successful applicant will:

*         Take a lead role in monitoring, evaluation and reporting MER of coral communities and other ecological and social assets as required within an asset 'condition-pressure-management response' framework

 *   Coordinate in-water data collection, undertake analysis and post-processing of video and still imagery of marine communities
 *   Develop time-series datasets of historical and current MER (and related research) activity
 *   Publish findings in legislated governmental reports and in national and international journals
