   For your information.

   Dear List members,

On 19 August, a lionfish was spotted and photographed on Honeymoon Reef,
Ciceron Bay, Saint Lucia. The Fisheries department verified its identify,
requested authorized divers to search for it to remove it and called a
meeting of the cross-sectoral Lionfish Taskforce for early next week to
   activate the rapid response plan.

The Soufriere Marine Management Association (SMMA) also received reports of
sightings in the Grenadines: Salines Bay, Mayreau, on 17 Aug and Sandy
Island, Cariacou, on 19 Oct. These have not been verified independently.

   Regards,
   Ulrike
