[Coral-List] Coral Bleaching in Arabian Gulf

>From the third week of August 2011 coral bleaching has been observed in
Arabian Gulf near Abu Dhabi, UAE. Roughly 70-80% of Staghorn, Brain and
Stony corals have been affected. Temperatures above 34.5°C has been recorded
during this time. However, in 2010 also coral bleaching was observed in this
region, but not to this severity and most of the then affected corals had
recovered.
