[Coral-List] Nutrient Pollution of Coral Reefs

Dear All,

I would like to get some information regarding nutrient levels in coastal
run-offs on fringing coral reefs?

1. Are there internationally advised limits for:

Orthophosphate
Dissolved Inorganic Nitrogen (DIN)

Oil & Grease
O,P-DDT
P-P,DDT
Lidane
HCB
Methoxychlor
Heptachlor(Oxide)


2. How big is the expected impact on algal bloom and overgrowth of
following parameters:
DIN=6.23mg/l (100 µM/l) - at the river opening

DIN= 3.13mg/l (52 µM/l) - on the reef flat
