Dear Coral-listers,

The Zoological Society of London's EDGE of Existence programme
(www.edgeofexistence.org <http://www.edgeofexistence.org/> ) is now
accepting applications for the 2012-14 Fellowship Programme. EDGE award
two-year Fellowships to future conservation leaders ("EDGE Fellows")
working on poorly-known EDGE species including corals.

EDGE Fellows follow a comprehensive two-year training programme
comprising of:

*         A grant to undertake a 2-year project on a top-priority EDGE
species

* A 4-week Conservation Tools training course in Kenya (location
to be confirmed)

* Ongoing technical support and mentoring

* A 2-week Conservation Leadership training course in London

The application form, guidelines, and eligibility criteria are available
to download on the EDGE of Existence website
(www.edgeofexistence.org/conservation/fellows) or can be requested from
the EDGE Coral Reefs co-ordinator (david.curnick at zsl.org). We strongly
encourage applicants to discuss their projects with us before applying,
and are happy to give feedback on a draft of the application before the
deadline.

The next application deadline is 31st May 2012. All applications will be
reviewed by a panel of experts. Successful applicants will be announced
by August 2012

Thanks,

David
