Pacific Islands Climate Change Cooperative: Communications Manager position supported by the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa

The Pacific Islands Climate Change Cooperative (PICCC) is seeking an individual experienced in communications and outreach to join our dynamic team in Honolulu, Hawai'i. This is a full time position supported by the UH Pacific Biosciences Research Center - Center for Conservation Research and Training.
The PICCC is a partnership organization committed to assist those who manage native species, island ecosystems, and cultural resources in the Pacific Islands in adapting to climate change. Part of a national network of Cooperatives, the PICCC team engages with a variety of local, regional, national, and international agencies and organizations in developing knowledge, strategies, and management tools to address the impacts of climate variability and change.
We are seeking experienced candidates who are familiar with natural and cultural resource management in the Pacific Islands, have successfully worked with multi-stakeholder partnerships, and can develop new and creative avenues to communicate the complexities of climate change in clear and compelling ways.
