Each year, the Australian Museum offers financial support for coral reef
research at its Lizard Island Research Station on the northern Great Barrier
Reef. The 2013 Lizard Island Fellowships Program is now open, as follows:

 

Two fellowships for PhD students, AU$8,000 per year for up to three years.

Preliminary applications for these fellowships close on 28 September 2012. 

Applicants must be enrolled or officially accepted into a PhD program at any
university.

 

Three fellowships for early-career postdoctoral researchers, AU$11,000 to be
spent in one year

Applications for these fellowships close on 12 October 2012. 

Applicants must have obtained a PhD within the past five years or provide
evidence of a similar level of postdoctoral research experience. 

 

All fellowships provide funding for field expenses only. Salary is not
provided.
