Marine Resources Development Foundation, the 43 year old research and
education organization in Key Largo, has recently expanded its
facility and capability to host marine scientists and provide them
with field support equipment and boats.

Included at our two acre facility are housing for visiting scientists,
research staff support, lab space (wet and dry), a 26 foot Twin Vee
dive boat and sampling equipment.

A 27 foot catamaran aluminum research vessel is also available
complete with a suite of survey equipment. On deck is a hydraulic
winch with 3000 feet of cable, side scan sonar, sub bottom profiler,
magnetometer and a Sea Eye ROV. The boat is equipped with A-frames
and capstans fore and aft to allow for deployment of scientific
equipment. The cabin is air conditioned and set up with wi-fi. The
boat can also be used as a scientific dive platform.
